Задача / Task

Для строительной компании Строймастер (г.Липецк) разработать эмблему и сделать с ней лайтбокс для размещения в существующий интерьер. Было принято решение о разделении работы на два этапа: разработка самой эмблемы и изготовление лайтбокса.

For the construction company Stroymaster (Lipetsk, Russia) to develop an emblem and make a lightbox with it for placement in the existing interior. It was decided to divide the work into two stages: the development of the emblem itself and the manufacture of lightbox.

Разработка / Design

Изображение позиционируется именно как эмблема потому, что логотип у компании есть и он другой. Заказчику хотелось нечто иное, в другой стилистике. Изначально обсуждался вензелястый стиль классических монограмм XIX-XXвв.

The graphic sign is positioned precisely as an emblem because the company already has a logo and it is different. The customer wanted something different, in a different style. Initially, the monogram style of classical monograms of the 19th-20th centuries was discussed.

После этого пришли к тому, что нужно совсем другое и ушли в ар-деко, как стиль более подходящий по формам современной архитектуре.

Then we came to the conclusion that something completely different was needed and went into art deco, as a style more suitable for the forms of modern architecture.

На этом этапе заказчику всё понравилось и он настоятельно попросил разместить где-то внутри эмблемы ещё несколько монограмм.

At this stage, the customer liked everything and he urged to place some more monograms somewhere inside the emblem.

В результате была разработана эмблема и переведена в векторный формат. Благодаря этому компания может использовать её где угодно: от наружной рекламы и айдентики в целом до печатей на майках или тортах в частности.

As a result, an emblem was designed and converted to a vector format. Thanks to this, the company can use this emblem anywhere: from outdoor advertising and identity in general to prints on T-shirts or cakes in particular.

Изготовление / Manufacture

Попытки воплотить в жизнь изначальную идею с лайтбоксом не увенчались успехом из-за нежелания компаний по наружке заниматься креативом.

Attempts to realize the original idea with a lightbox were unsuccessful due to the reluctance of outdoor adv companies to engage in creative work.

Вариации лайтбокса / Light box variations

После предложения о переходе на массив дерева было принято коллективное решение (я, дизайнер интерьера и заказчик) о переходе на этот вариант реализации проекта. В результате после разработки эмблемы был сделан эскиз-проект панно для воплощения в массиве.

After the proposal to switch to solid wood, a collective decision was made (I, the interior designer and the customer) to switch to this project implementation option. As a result, after the development of the emblem, a sketch-project of the panel was made for embodiment in an array.

Была создана модель для ЧПУ специально под это панно. За этим последовало несколько тестов реза и цветов. После панно было вырезано из бука на ЧПУ, покрыто морилкой и лаком. Затем была нанесена поталь и финальный слой лака.

A model for CNC was created specifically for this panel. After there were several cut and color tests. After that the panel was cut out of beech wood on a CNC machine, covered with stain and varnish. Then a potal and a final coat of varnish were applied.
