Ebenezers Coffee Bag Design

I designed a coffee bag for Ebenezers Coffeehouse in Washington DC. The brown bag with black printed elements can be used for any of the coffee bean blends that Ebenezers sells. The stickers on the front and back are specific to a blend, and each blend would have its own dedicated sticker.

The pattern across the brown bag represents train tracks and street car tracks, because the coffee shop is located near a train station and their eventual second location will be in a building that once refurbished DC’s streetcars. The two tracks that curve around the back sticker represent the specific tracks that once curved around that streetcar refurbishment building, based on a 1958 DC streetcar map.
The shop's motto is "Coffee with a Cause," and they use this hand-drawn type on merchandise and their website. I placed that type on the bottom of the bag as a pleasant surprise for the customers when they are pouring beans from the bag. (Note, I did not create the hand-drawn type.)
The back of the bag provides information about Ebenezers Coffeeshop, and the sticker on the back prompts the customer to scan a QR code to access more information about coffee brewing tips. The sticker also provides a location for the roaster to write the roast date of the beans.
Scanning the QR code would bring the customer to a web page features a video of an Ebenezers barista teaching coffee brewing methods and tips. The top banner of the web page will provide a link to the Ebenezers Coffeehouse home page.

Each blend will have a different sticker design and corresponding QR code, because the wep page and video would be different for each of the shop’s different blends.
