WEDDING ILLUSTRATIONS

I was asked to make some illustrations for a wedding. The illustrations will be used on RSVPs, the invitations, the Facebook event, the menu and the place cards.
The couple dream about buying a farm together so they wanted a rural theme for the wedding. The groom has a passion for beekeeping and the bride's last name means daisy, so I found it obvious to get inspired by the story about bees and flowers.
Furthermore, the couple loves everything handmade and vintage. Therefore I chose to go with a dusty colour palette and make the colours go outside the outline, to make it look less "perfect".
Here are the final illustrations.
I started by drawing the outline by hand, and trace it in Illustrator afterwards. The textures I made by roughly colouring a piece of paper, photographing it and then image trace it in Illustrator. I chose to make the outline brown in order to make the illustrations more "soft".
