Confessions of a Bird Stalker
Design Research + Artist Book
In researching bird migration, I came across this poem by Pablo Neruda, and saw the opportunity to create a new narrative using in form of the concertina book, while experimenting with typography and letterpress. The entire book is hand sewn and hand set, mostly utilizing the blind emboss technique with proofing press. The book is 30 feet long, 6 inches tall, and housed in a handmade slipcase.
