"Arctic char cooked in beeswax" baking dish
With the sights of the 2021 Alsace Stars competition which will take place at the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle, the double-starred chef Olivier Nasti asked Siegfried-Burger & Fils pottery for the creation of a very special dish.
This dish will have the difficult task of welcoming the chef's flagship creation, the Arctic char cooked in beeswax. It will be showcased at the table to the lucky customers of its restaurant, le Chambard.
I've done this design study to help the potter manufacture the best baking dish possible. To do so, I got immersed in the cooking process of this Arctic char but also in the Olivier Nasti's universe full of details. Thus, I've came up with some design proposals, in keeping with the manufacturing requirements.
