Too often we are forced to choose plastic cookware to meet our needs. It indeed offers certain unavoidable advantages by being cheap and by not scratching our pans. I deliberately used the term "constrained" because nowadays, who wants to continue to eat micro-particles of plastic, already naturally present in our food?
The idea behind this project was therefore to offer a credible alternative to these utensils by combining the benefits of wood and stainless steel. The first does not damage our dishes while coming from renewable resources and the second having an excellent lifespan.
I chose wooden heads, a material which can be ecological under certain conditions and which does not damage the non-stick coatings. Being a wearing part, I imagined them removable.
The single stainless steel shaft deforms enough to be able to replace or interchange them if necessary. It is rather easy to make and should offer excellent durability to this spatula.
Thank you all for watching!
Also a big shout out to Render Weekly Challenge who, again, made me work on this issue.
Needless to say, your feelings about my work are more than welcome.
