Part 4: Initial Prototyping

Goals in place, I could finally begin designing the visual aspects of the app. I started by inviting colleagues to participate in a card sort, which helped me group items and functions into preliminary groups. I then went through an iterative process creating the layout and, eventually, an interactive lo-fi prototype.
