The interactive campaign to promote the IE companion site to the Hunger Games film, was the first commercial use of gesture control in UK. It utilised a range of interactive technology including gender recognition, proximity sensing, facial tracking and augmented reality.
 
Upon looking at the screen and stepping into range, the user received a full body scan to capture their photograph and determine their gender. This information was used to create an ID card granting them access to exclusive online content.
Gesture controlled 6 sheets gave the public exclusive access to exclusive content from the film
