Microsoft - Atari Arcade

Advertising
As part of Microsoft's "reimagined" campaign we were tasked with launching their new online Atari Arcade featuring classic 80's Atari games, reimagined with new enhanced graphics and game play by Microsoft to showcase the power of Internet Explorer.

I had the idea to create a pop-up arcade for 3 nights only in London's hot spot, Shoreditch where game fans and press could experience the reimagined games in an arcade environment. The event took inspiration from the 80's arcade's, popcorn, pick 'n' mix, neon signs, game SFX and re-imagined them for the 21st century.
Master artwork I concepted and art directed with 3D designers for the pop-up Atari Arcade event
Graffiti artist Will Vibes painted Missile Command in Shoreditch, London to promote our Atari Arcade pop-up event.
Street artist Mr Penfold paints his version of the Atari classic Centipede

ROID painted the Atari game Asteroids
Neon paint was used by each artist and  blacklights were installed to enhance the arcade atmosphere.

The artwork advertised the event all over East London in a range of formats from building branding to 6 sheets

Retro Atari games were playable in touch on tablets at the event, each room was themed to the different games and high scorers won prizes.
Staff at the event served arcade themed cocktails and talked to the public about the tech and campaign
Cocktails, pick n mix, popcorn, live DJ and gaming, whats not to love?
The public could gain access to the pop-up arcade by simply tweeting for a ticket
