Yahoo had a pipeline of R&D projects that it was trying to maintain during its acquisition by Verizon. The company needed an experienced designer to ideate new product UX and UI during the transition period.

I performed UX and UI design for a range of projects across the organization. For Yahoo News, I conceived and prototyped ways to integrate Instagram Stories-like content into the Yahoo News app, ways to display aggregate sentiment from user comments on Yahoo.com, and ways to use dual-camera video for a new social news app. For Yahoo Accessibility, I prototyped concepts related to sharing and natural language processing in sports videos. And the concepts, storyboards, and high-resolution wireframes that I produced for Yahoo Finance provided some groundwork for the Tanda app that Yahoo launched in January 2018.
