Throughout the years Yehuda Safran wrote numerous articles on Portuguese art and architecture, all compiled in this book we had the privilege to design.

As the author describes best in his foreword, this book compiles a "more than thirty-year love affair with Portugal, her culture, language and building arts".

This is a simple book, using a straightforward text book structure and a generous type size for reading comfort. We've added some emotion to the design tone by graphically interpreting some of the text elements such as titles, quotes and lists, introducing playful compositions as a rhythmic tool to shake an otherwise very pragmatic pace.
