Here is my collaboration with artist, Steven Chu, who shot my latest cut and sew T shirts. I'm preparing for the Brooklyn Renegade Fair #renegadecraftbrooklyn this weekend June 22 + 23. I wanted to include a few new pieces alongside the graphic T's that I've already made to sell at the event. These shirts and tanks will be added to my Love Is Cool collection, which you can view on my website www.shopyeeyee.com. They're silkscreened, cut + sewn; made in my studio in Brooklyn.
For the photo shoot, I wanted to keep the images playful, and focus more on the artful quality of the print, and let that stand out. The props are all paper onto which we silkscreened my drawing. My intention wasn't to capture the structure of the shirt, but really the spirit of the print. Love Is Cool is really my baby, a labour of love that allows me to engage my love of fashion with illustration. The Renegade Craft Fair is on June 22 + 23 at East River State Park, 11:00am - 7:00pm, on North 8th Street and Kent Avenue.
