"LE TRE MOIRE"
L'opera è il risultato di un "Live Painting" realizzato durante l' inaugurazione dell' evento "Panchine d' autore" realizzato presso il centro commerciale Grandapulia a Foggia, in Puglia. L' evento ha visto gareggiare gli studenti dell' Accademia delle belle arti di Foggia nella realizzazione di opere d' arte su panchine, poi esposte in tutta l' area dello stabile.
La scelta di rappresentare le Moire è stato un invito (metaforico) ai partecipanti di seguire il proprio destino( all' interno del contest) . Nella mitologia greca arcaica "le tre Moire, le tessitrici della vita, decidevano, al momento della nascita, il destino assegnato a ogni persona. Neppure gli dei potevano modificarlo. Cloto reggeva il filo dei giorni per la tela della vita, Làchesi dispensava la sorte avvolgendo al fuso il filo che a ciascuno era assegnato e infine Atropo, l’inesorabile, che lo tagliava con le forbici quando giungeva il momento di arrestare la vita, attribuendo il principio e la fine del tempo della vita, la nascita e la morte.
The work is the result of a "Live Painting" created during the inauguration of the "Panchine d 'Autore" event held at the Grandapulia shopping center in Foggia, Puglia. The event saw the students of the Academy of Fine Arts of Foggia compete in the creation of works of art on benches, which were then exhibited in the whole area of the building.The choice to represent the Moires was an (metaphorical) invitation to the participants to follow their own destiny (within the contest). In archaic Greek mythology "the three Moires, the weavers of life, decided, at the time of birth, the destiny assigned to each person. Not even the gods could modify it. Clotho held the thread of days for the canvas of life, Lachesis dispensed fate wrapping the thread that was assigned to each to the spindle and finally Atropos, the relentless, who cut it with scissors when the time came to arrest life, attributing the beginning and end of the time of life, birth and death.
