El proyecto fue llevado a cabo a través de la remodelación y ampliación de una residencia, la cual se convirtió en un salón de belleza con varios servicios, dentro de los cuales destaca la Suite de Novias con un carácter contrastante respecto al salón.
En planta baja se encuentran las estaciones de corte, color y lavado. Mientras que las estaciones de maquillaje, de uñas, la Suite de Novias con terraza, así como las áreas con menor flujo y de carácter privado, en planta alta.
El espacio interior manifiesta la ambivalencia de la belleza. Por un lado, con un carácter natural que se centra en el muro de concreto aparente, diseñado especialmente para tener una textura atemporal y de apariencia pétrea, este aparece en el exterior como elemento de recepción y se lleva al interior como elemento que unifica todas las áreas.. Por otro lado, se manifiesta la belleza creada por el hombre, reflejada en las actividades que ocurren en el día a día dentro del salón.
BEAUTY COMES FROM WITHIN
Anthro Salon is a space dedicated to making people's lives happier, and having the best version of themselves. The imperfection of beauty is the main theme for the stylists who runs the place, they have evolved the way to detonate the natural beauty in each client according to their personal attributes. The place is designed with the same human sense, making a unique raw concrete that accompany the whole space, imitating the imperfection of nature with a material produced by man. The concrete worked with an innovative technique, immiting the hair follicles if seen from a microscope, that are part of the common areas.
Every space it’s designed to create a sensory promenade that awakens the consciousness that has the beauty of the imperfect human and the desire of self-confidence that has being lost in this “perfect world”
