Nothing captures it like film used to (and should) - it’s genuine, it’s nostalgic...sometimes quite embarrassing but always fiercely fantastic. Film is a true visualization of the moment - no edits, no redo's. It’s the really real deal and this is the sentiment we wanted to capture with our Sticker Range design for Cape Film Supply - one of the few studios in Cape Town, whom still supply and develop film. All real film, all the time.
To create this range we literally went through thousands of found slide, 35mm,120mm film from our personal collections (pilfered from antique shops, markets and our families). After quite a tedious selection process, we scanned the winners! Then we went onto colour correction, grading and finally we printed these 'proper vintage photo size' stickers to be pasted all over the fair Cape.
