Brand Refresh
Café Joyero is a handcraft jewelry studio stablished in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México.
My friend and owner of Café Joyero asked me if we could refresh the brand i designed fror him back in 2010,
he has grown in knowledge and has found his very own new vision as an artisan, therefor he needed a refresh in order to transmit how he get things done with his design process.
Café Joyero is defined by 5 principles: geometry, abstraction, fragmentation, topology and deformation.
The incorporation of the elements as a heterogeneous mixture rather than an homogenous one, where the flow of the piece can be seen.
Geometry: if the monuments are mountains, then geometry is geography in form.
Abstraction: condensed information, essential and pure.
Fragmentation: decomposition and reinvention of a solid body
Topology: study of geometric figures in continuous transformation
Deformation: alteration of the natural form of an object.
The logo was conceptualized under these 5 principles.
