A homepage refresh for the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation as the first step in a full-site redesign. The goals for the homepage were to modernize the Foundation's look and feel, put more emphasis on news content, address accessibility concerns with the palette, and clean up readability issues with typography. The resulting design is fresh, clean, and simple yet effective. With the increased emphasis on news content, a new design was also created for the News & Blog section which includes faceted search and a featured content slider. A full suite of designs bringing the rest of the site templates under this new direction are currently in development.
