New York Times Magazine Cover Design
Tasked with creating a magazine cover design for the New York Times Magazine. I went to the more modern and futuristic idea of humans exploring space and ultimately landing on Mars in an effort to colonize it. This topic could not be a hotter one even to this day a little bit after producing this work. I liked the idea of creating something that could be actually seen on a magazine cover. I chose to photo composite this cover design together from a number of different images. I really enjoy print design as in the idea of creating in an effort for the end result living in the print medium. There is something about being able to make things seem grandeur then just a simple image when it gets printed for those to see. I had fun exploring a new approach for print design and would love the opportunity to design more magazine covers in the future.
