Hungaria Stamp Exchange

The Hungaria Stamp Exchange site has always been a project of mine. The site has been through many revisions from the first time I redesigned it in 2005. Each redesign was completed using site analytics to discover how people were using the site. Of note, the highest traffic page was (and continues to be) the "Sell Stamps" page. Using this, we crafted more quality content for the page and developed it into a landing page. Search engine visibility of the page skyrocketed, as did conversion rates. In December, we used similar tactics to re-work the skeleton of a page that "Services" was (redesign pictured below). In just a few short months, search engine visibility increased over 50x and a previously low-ranking site page became a primary landing page.

The Services page was redesigned in December, 2011 from a page that contained only a few bullet points. The new page has been crafted for keyword density and stuffed full of content (each country has a keyword-dense mini-history included). Search engine visibility of the page increased from <10 impressions/wk to >500 impressions/wk, with >1% CTR. Specific call-to-action methods were incorporated into the page, including a "Request Information" button.
