Here are shots of a newsletter I designed for an IST (Information Studies) class at Syracuse University. Our team, lead by myself, created a fictional company ("M&M Development") that sold land on Mars. We developed the company through several marketing pitches to the class. Marketing materials were developed to further sell our company. Our final product was a corporate newsletter (designed by myself) targeted at investors & intended to provide an update on the company's progress to date for the year. At the conclusion of the class, each team presented a final sales pitch to the class. Each student in the class was given an imaginary $10,000 to invest in the various teams, as they saw fit (without investing in their own company). Our company, through exceptional sales pitches, quality marketing materials and a solid team, received the largest total investment by the class.
