Vuon / vɨə̀n / (Vietnamese): garden
A piece of ground adjoining a house, in which grass, flowers, and shrubs may be grown.
At the beginning of 2019, we momentarily felt an impulse to create a collection of illustrations that reflect the best of Vuon, our studio. We may not be good at words but through scribbles of drawing and strokes of paint, we can deliver many expressions about who we are, why we love to create and most of all, the feelings of Vuon. We hope this humble series will plant a seed of peace and joy somewhere in your heart. Hope the seed gradually grows and sparks a subtle light to keep you at peace and away from anxiety.
This series is a dedication towards cultural beauty hidden in the temporary living. You may not live where we live, but the feeling of a peaceful place will always remain the same.
