The Macau Design Biennale has been organised by the Macau Designers Association since 1994 and was officially renamed "Macau Design Awards" in the 12th session. It aims to gather cutting-edge design forces leading the world, encourage creation and promote the value of local design, and make Macao become an important bridge between China and the West. It is the only professional competition with a long history in Macao's comprehensive design sector.
We hope to respond to this global design competition by innovating and pushing the boundaries of graphic design through the main visual design combining data computing vision. Through the combination of data and interactive design technology, the time, wind direction, wind speed, water level and other data information corresponding to the activities of the past year are created by a series of data evolved into experimental visual graphics.
澳門設計師協會自1994年起創辦每兩年一度的澳門設計雙年展，於第十二屆正式改名的「澳門設計大獎」。目的為匯聚引領全球的新銳設計力量，鼓勵創作及推動本地設計價值，與國際接軌，使澳門成為中西交流的重要橋樑，是澳門綜合設計界別唯一和歷史悠久的專業賽事。
我們希望透過結合數據運算視覺的主視覺設計，以創新與突破平面設計邊界來回應這一全球設計大賽。透過結合數據與互動設計技術，由歷年活動對應的時間、風向、風速、水位等數據資訊，創造出一系列由數據演變而成具有實驗性的視覺圖形。
