Over the last century, sanitary products have made menstruation much more manageable for billions of women. Yet, the hushed nature in which periods are spoken remains. This must change. To accomplish this lofty goal, we aim to deface famous works of art and statues featuring women and painting their crotches red. We will highlight the taboo of the period, bring it to the light of day of minds both young and old, preparing them for a brighter view of menstruation and how best to socially deal with it.
