This is my flute and guitar duo with Lawrence Barley. We get a lot of party work under a different name but needed a rebrand for recitals and concert projects and a potential recording.

Flutes are often scored as birds in compositions which is where this concept came from as our personal names just did not work together in any iteration! We tried other names with "wood" and "silver" and none of them worked either.

I traced a photograph of a starling to create the silhouette and put it together with a similar rendering of part of a guitar. It can be reduced to just the bird on the strings for social media contexts.
