Symply Fly is an independant travel concierge for everyone. It was a start-up and needed an identity.

The odd spelling (extra 'Y') was forced by availability of website names and competition in the industry. I chose to play up the use of the Y as an icon to be used in multiple pieces (luggage tags, promotional material, identity pieces) as well as creating an airplane from the same shape. This lead to the animated gif.

Initial requirements were a business card and very basic printed handbills to complement their online presence, blog, and email promotions.

For the handbill I created an infographic that shows the complexity of booking vacations for oneself, with custom activity and decision tree icons and a colour pallette showing from an excited and hopeful green to a frustrated and tired deep red. The companion infographic shows a calm colour pallette of the hopeful green, a warm and helpful orange, which is also the main identity colour, to a still hopeful green.

Using this service is simple and a relaxing trip awaits.

The business card is an oversized logo and word mark, reverse is the logo as airplane icon and a large and simple layout.
