Visual Identity Design
Logo and visual identity designed for the new brasserie & bar of leading luxury hotel chain Four Seasons’ Budapest establishment: Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest. The logo depicts the hotel from top view, where the letters “LL” are ‘cut’ exactly from the corner where the restaurant is situated within the building – referring to the meaning of the name ’Kollázs’ (’collage’ in Hungarian), where you cut a piece out and put it somewhere else within an artwork. The brass frame system of the logo are also represented in the interior design – created by EDG Interior Architecture + Design –, and are used as dynamic elements of the identity, always adjusting to the surface in size and shape. Both the interior and the identity elements use different color pairings, which again refers to the mix and match effect of collages.
