Boffo Gallery Bar is an Italian-style establishment. Designed for customers because atmosphere, comfort and service are key. In the "gallery" every cocktail is a work of art.
Repair and restoration work lasted a little over a year. During dismantling, authentic arched openings appeared, which were hidden under the plasterboard structures. During the renovation, door handles were found, they are more than 150 years old, which later took their place in the interior.
Aged walls, plaster stucco molding, flowing space into one another through arched openings. Such a space with a ceiling height of 4 meters immerses in the atmosphere of old apartments.
A bar counter is designed in the center of the first hall. The wall, which visually divides the bar into two parts, is faced with handmade tiles covered with glaze. It stands out from the general background of aged walls with empty plaster frames that continue the theme of the gallery.
A VIP-hall is provided for the bar visitors. Collected from 1300 handmade parts, made by Ukrainian craftsmen.
We used classic materials: brass, marble, wood, leather. All elements in the interior are designed individually for the institution. The interior is made in restrained and dark colors.
We were faced with the task of creating a bourgeois atmosphere. An important role was played by the location in an old house of the 19th century in the center of Odessa at the intersection of the architectural masterpieces of Francesco Boffo, after whom the bar is named.
