Cisco Live
Cisco Live is an annual event that showcases the latest innovations and technology surrounding education and the world of business. The event presents solutions to learn, explore, connect and inspire the company’s top experts, partners and customers through a series of talks and workshops.
In 2019, hosting more than 15,000 tech professionals, the event took place in Barcelona where we developed alongside our colleagues from Domestic Data Streamers a set of visual pieces which represented Cisco’s most iconic image: the Bridge. Our approach presented an impactful yet simplistic visual identity, in addition to an innovative interaction proposal.
The Cisco Live Bridge
We built an interactive big data visualization that evolved with the contribution of the community during the event. Every added brick represented what the assistants were doing at the event: from tackled threats to social media reactions, every interaction was visualized. All relevant data happening at the event was connected to the growth of the bridge all the while running live on Cisco technology.

Space and interaction design
While the bridge was the main visual piece of the installation, there were also interactive screen “pillars”, where the attendees could answer a series of questions and generate bricks that will later help build the Cisco Live Bridge. The main purpose of this installation was to help develop a stronger sense of community between visitors and Cisco, and to visualize the overall experience in a physical way.
