Brand Flowers by AITO

AI Brand Flowers

AITO is our department of Artificial Investigation at The Others. At its core, the department’s creative direction is based on the principle of “hybridisation”, joining two concepts together in order to create something unique. The following collection started off with a simple question: “What if the world were an endless garden filled with flowers, each representing a brand?”. In other words, (brand) + (flower) = the following case study.

NIKE: Organike flower

In our first exploration, we created the Organike Flowear. We analysed the values and aesthetics of the Nike brand, which we then applied to the organic characteristics of a flower. The key concepts we applied were dynamism, futurism & aggressiveness. After countless trials and errors, variations and upscales, the final result speaks for itself: an alien-like flower that breathes Nike DNA.

Louis Vuitton: Monogram Blossom

In our second exploration, we journeyed through the universe of the Louis Vuitton brand. Monogram Blossom is an echo to the brand’s aesthetics, patterns and ambitious DNA, but also takes inspiration from Japan. The luxurious brand’s original monogram and logo were first created in 1896 by Louis Vuitton’s son, Georges, who was inspired by Japanese square flower motifs.

Lacoste: Set & Match

In our third exploration, we navigated the Lacoste brand. To create our flower, Set & Match, we played with the various elements present on a tennis court. The brand was created by René Lacoste, a tennis player who decided to wear his nickname on his polo shirt, the crocodile. We mixed the textures of a tennis ball, a polo shirt and a net together, incorporating organic elements related to the crocodile, and produced this feisty yet elegant sporty flower.

Adidas: Impossible Trefoil

For the last collection of brand flowers, we explored the visual imaginary of Adidas, also known as the three-striped brand. To create our Impossible Trefoil, we aimed to highlight the company’s iconic stripes and incorporate foamy cloud textures that drew inspiration from their diverse shoe models and their biomorphic shapes. The result is a flower that seems to be in an organic constant evolution.
