South Point Festival is the biggest annual party in Braamfontein, packed with music, food, dancing, entertainment and loads of fun. The Festival grows in magnitude every year and is an eagerly anticipated celebratory experience for many thousands of students. We were tasked with creating a campaign for South Point Fest 2017 that would capture the vibrant spirit of this unique event. 

The large colour palette is bright and celebratory, effectively conveying the sense of fun. Since the dot in South Point represents the individual, we visually signified crowds by multiplying the dot into colourful confetti. The 2017 brandmark was created using an intriguing interplay of shapes. Bold typography and a vivid, energetic photographic treatment complete the decorative effect.
