This personal project is an exploration in naturalistic materials and lighting, an update of what I originally created in Strata 3D back in 2013. This update focussed on creating more realistic materials with additional micro detail such as metal polishing marks and gem refraction imperfections. This approach extends to the lighting which deliberately reveals room and camera reflections. I remodelled everything in Modo and rendered out using the internal mPath render engine.
