ROTTERDAM SUITE
Album cover for New Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra
New Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra asked us to design the album cover for the Rotterdam Suite, a collection of eight compositions, composed by eight different musicians, inspired by eight locations across the city. We translated each location into a pattern and arranged them on the cover. The yellow dots accentuate the locations and represent the composers. The numbered patterns refer to the compositions and locations listed on the back of the cover.
