Bibendum, the wine importer wanted to launch a new italian red wine for the broad masses. We proposed a design that refrenced Italy but steered clear of the most common clichés.
We wanted a theme which would be memorable even if you could not remember the name.
The small colorful cars - so typical of italian cityscapes, popped up very early in brainstorming as a possible visual focus for the packaging.
The small colorful cars - so typical of italian cityscapes, popped up very early in brainstorming as a possible visual focus for the packaging.
We ended up with a design that is reminiscent of seventies graphics. Hand drawn cars are lined up so that when multiple boxes are stacked besides each other they connect and form a horizontal queue.
