soaked in nostalgia
wooden frames of life reminisce
a word unspoken
they whisper of days gone by
as sure as time, the moment arrives
the oldest of them all
a memory most faded
makes way for a younger slice of time
a window sleeps
her eyes shut to the winter chill
the mist of time
trickles as beads of calm
a wind chime sings
the sonnet of sunshine
while the kiss of spring
she quivers to lif
beneath the calm of noon
the breeze swirls by
along with a homeless friend,
a leaf from a shade afar
hand in hand
a momentary waltz of joy
together, they soar to their destiny
into the clouds of blue
