RAW Pressery - Package & Logo Redesign

Brief
Packaging keeps the world organized. To stand out on shelf in the over-saturated juice market targeting a younger demographic, Raw Pressery decided to redesign the Raw Orange juice logo & packaging line-up.

Using the original branding, I was challenged to add more edginess to the package design and appeal to a younger, fun consumer group. Encompassing the brand personality, I strived to achieve a bolder design to help the product jump off the shelf.

With the Original Package Design in mind, I designed a larger, edgier watermark using an interesting pop design for a cool yet clean appearance.
Research & Analysis
I conducted research on the Client, the Market & then the Design. These guided me in making all of the other decisions. I asked questions like:
What is the product?  - What are you selling? How big is it? What materials is it made of? Is it delicate?
Who’s buying the product?  Is the product gender specific? Is it for children or adults? Is it geared towards people who are environmentally conscious?
How are people buying the product? Are they purchasing it in a supermarket or Online?

I followed these with questions pertaining to Brand requirements, Colors, Fonts, Logo, Content that needs to go on the packaging, Written copy, Imagery , Required marks such as bar-code, nutrition information, association marks, Style likes and dislikes & finally the competition
Based on my observations and the users’ feedback, I made revisions. As a result, I was able to improve my designs. I followed that by making print-ready files.
I kept working through my  synthesis my research from the information gathered.
I conducted some sessions with users who enjoy packaged juices for feedback & validation with my designs so that they are more closely aligned with customer’s needs and goals.
Solution
Although this project was created within one month. My role in this project is that of the lead and only Designer. I completed all activities in the package design project cycle in a solo capacity. This has resulted in the accumulation of a huge amount of knowledge and many new skills. The key trade offs was that I had less users to get feedback from and less time to research. I feel like I have met the goals and needs of my user. However, ideally I would have liked more time.
