"Close at Hand" was an exhibition curated by Blair Murphy for the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Gallery featuring the artists Carla Edwards, Roxana Geffen, Hedieh Javanshir Ilchi, and Amber Robles-Gordon. 

The wordmark and type treatments for the catalogue and exhibition were selected to convey the expressive, hand-crafted work. Using Minion and Sang Bleu Sans from Swiss Typefaces, it is expressive yet unobtrusive, letting the powerful work shine.
