Quandoo is a unique service that offers a multifunctional platform for restaurant management and a table booking app for diners. Redwerk team was asked to design and develop a mobile application that will help restaurant owners and administrators to observe and gather statistics on reservations and attendance at their restaurants. The app should contain a lot of important information about reservations, so our task was to organize it in the most convenient way for users.

When working on an interactive prototype of the app we paid much attention to style guidelines and general principles of Quandoo brand to make our designs compliant. We needed to create a simple interface that will be convenient for every user, even for elderly restaurant owners. So, before passing to beta users, the created prototype was first tested by our team, which helped us to achieve clean and intuitive UI design.

During our work on the project, Quandoo platform was already popular and had its fixed set of colors used in other applications. Our task was to accurately use them in the new app for a different target audience.

Our goal was to create the app interface via which clients could fast and efficiently interact with the platform. Despite that with each additional feature, the complexity of the project was growing, we suggested numbers of solutions for each problem and chose the most appropriate and valid out of all. Moreover, some powerful libraries like Alamofire, SwiftyJSON, and JTAppleCalendar helped us to achieve desired results.
