Make My Day
Serving up a selection of everyday emotions
Make My Day (MM:D) was built on the delightful premise of simple and fresh food, using only vegetarian ingredients, in refreshing environments. They needed a sound positioning that could make them a happy place to be, and make them rise above the noise. To achieve that, we infused happiness into food, and created vibrant communication that made every day into a happy day.

As we designed the ‘talking’ logo, graphic language, posters,’ happiness’ menus and more, we just had one goal: to deliver a fresh reimagining of happiness and match the vivacious brand language we had created. From choosing cheery yellows, to using fun emoticons to depict handpicked emotions that could make a day, to penning witty happy messages for the day – we celebrated the joy of food through vibrant colours and uplifting messages.
A name like Make My Day was bursting with positive and happy vibrations – all the wonderful things that can make someone’s day. It became the fountainhead of cheerful and bright logo, the vivid colours and fun visual language.
The effervescent graphic forms were all about looking inside to discover real happiness, and some really happy food.
The façade was a tease – with a range of emoticons welcoming the visitor in. It didn’t spell out much in the beginning, but right inside was a message that no food lover can deny.
Vivid posters that spoke out loud, fun emoticons, joyous colours and seating – all came together to compose refreshing environments that were a pleasure to be in.
For a place bubbling with the joy of food, ‘the menu of happiness’was designed to exude an infectious vibrancy. Split clearly into the five key varieties of food that MMD offered, it was a pleasure to browse.
Even a feedback page transformed into a happy conversation.
