The 54 page catalogue was entirely produced in corelDrawX7 and intended both for print and for web publishing. The catalogue focuses on the importance of colour fidelity, of colour gamut, and intensity and contrast in retail lighting featuring exporlux’s technical solutions. At first it was thought as a a4 stapled brochure to accommodate only a a couple of categories, hence the colour code developed for version 2. Then it eventually come to accommodate solutions for general lighting, linear systems and continuous lighting, located lighting, spotlights, downlights, decorative and industrial lighting and therefore the format became the final imperfect square of 22,8×20,5cm with a modular system being deployed on a single spread to account for each section. Graphic and typographical elements are switched on/off, providing clear guidance through the different sections. The cover alludes to modern led technology which can bring into sharper focus different slices of reality as required by the specific needs of retail lighting.
