The Fine Line Design Conference will bring in speakers from around the globe to talk about their experiences and how they managed to successfully use cultural influences in their design practise without negatively impacting the culture.
I used the visual metaphor of fragility and tension by positioning various cultural artifacts being pressed to the edge of breaking point to help visualise ‘the fine line’ between appreciation and appropriation. I have used these visual elements of the artifacts and a fine diagonal line throughout the varies collateral to bring together an established style of tension and fragility
