This GIF was created for the GIF It Up Challenge which is run by Europeana Collection. They challenge people to use their collection of digitized cultural heritage material to create GIFs. I chose this advertisement called Affiche voor Boon's Geïllustreerd Magazijn which is created by Johann Georg van Caspel. I was drawn to it because I recognized that I could make the pages turn together. However, as I was working on it, I also realized that I could play with the idea that the woman in the advertisement becomes the woman on the cover.
