We created this 'Too Juicy' spot while the Right Said Fred track was riding high in the charts all over Europe. Fruit-Tella sold out across the UK, the ad won an IPA Effectiveness award and the brand won a cult following of teenage fans. It was directed by Wil Van Der Vlucht and was filmed in his studios in Amsterdam.
After the runaway success of the 'Too Juicy' spot we re-wrote the lyrics to another famous track and continued the disruptive storyline. It didn't quite have the same magic as the first ad but Fruit-Tella continued to sell by the truck load.
