I was asked by the Town Hall in Greece, NY to design a new logo for their new vehicles and staff shirts. They asked fro something clean, but encompassed both aspects of this department to show everything that they do with it. I decided to use an image of a slide for the recreation part of this department because it involves playgrounds as well, and for the parks, I used a leaf to represent nature. In my final design, I was inspired with the yin and yang symbol which displays two contrasting things can be connected in unison. The colors also helped to separate the two sections of this department. The typeface I used was Arial Rounded which went conceptually with the minimalist design, but it also has a more playful look because of the rounded edges.
