Purely Type
This book is my final result for my second semester course Fundamentals of Typography.
Each student was assigned with a Typeface and was tasked to create a book that contained
the weekly assignments. I worked with Rockwell and these are some pages of my book.
The special thing about this book is, that it has hidden pages and therefore two different layers of content. While I spread all of my assignments evenly on the book, I decided to hide the typographic patterns inside the binding by folding the paper and using the Japanese stitch binding. By doing so I could put a special emphasis on my favorite assignment, the patterns, and make the reader interact with the book.
