Devon Young Carers is a sub brand of Devon Carers, and I have designed the newsletters, Health and Wellbeing Checks Booklet and website for them. Following on from the Devon Carers branding, but aimed at younger children (mainly between 11-18 years old) I had to use the colours and imagery where I could, but make it feel younger and more accessible to the younger carers. I also had an existing logo designed by some of the carers that needed to be incorporated and used. The website is in the same mould as the Devon Carers website, using the DYC colours and logo. The newsletter uses different supporting graphics, a more relaxed layout and a different typeface (Coolvetica). The H&WBC booket follows on from the design of the newsletter, using the same colours and typefaces, and trying to stay consistent to both the Devon Carers branding and the Devon Young Carers branding.
