Located in the city of Johor Bahru, Adego Academy is a tertiary institution offering top- notch contemporary arts education in Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Illustration. A series of illustration has been created in conjunction with the academy’s student enrolment programme. The illustrations are inspired by the fantastical visual style of the movie Big Fish, directed by Tim Burton himself. Tim Burton is best known for his aesthetic and vision, as well as the unorthodox and bold characters he has created.
Each character illustrated here are unconventional and portray the world of an artist far from being just black and white. They tell of a story, depicting the dreams and hopes of what an art student can be in the future. The illustrations are created to find a home in the hearts of the students and spur their interest as well as faith towards Adego Academy.
