Defining Experimental Type
This was the design outcome of an extensive theoretical research project I did which aimed to define 'Experimental Typography'. The end result was a series of defining qualities and characteristics which I have used these postcards to illustrate.
Using all different kinds of media from photography to vector art to paper craft, I really had fun creating these.

(isn't restricted by anything but the alphabet)
(is defined by innovative thinking)
(is defying convention)
(enhances meanning by communicating textually & visually)
(relies on the shared understanding of codes)
(allows the designer to become co-author)
