肯尼维·凯特是来自约翰内斯堡的一名19岁的插画家、数字艺术家，去年刚刚毕业的他正尝试着各种不同职业，方便以后上大学能更容易学习和看待事物。对肯尼维·凯特来说，艺术是一种给予的礼物，他会一直在绘画的道路上走下去，因为他觉得艺术是永恒的。

My name is Keneilwe Kwanaite, I am a Johannesburg based illustrator and digital artist, i am 19 years old and currently residing in Johannesburg, I completed my high school last year and I am currently exploring different career paths in order to simplify things when I go to a tertiary institution. To me art is a given gift, I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, which is forever. I don’t necessarily have a certain muse for my artworks, everything I create is based on the constant competition that I go through with myself, I try to challenge myself on each and every artwork I create in order to try to make something better than my previous work.

我出生在中国山西大同，并在那里度过了童年。我的家乡有大片空旷的大地。我家附近时时有火车经过，经常能听到火车的轰隆声及鸣笛声。那些声音在夜晚更显清晰，伴随着我入梦。我常想，在我所能看到的天际之外还有些什么呢……我憧憬着自己的未来，那应该是多彩而令人惊讶的吧。
我的母亲是一名中学美术教师，她也是我的艺术启蒙老师。在我15岁的时候，我通过了一系列严格的艺术专业考试，并成功被中央美术学院附属中等美术学校录取。在校四年，我接受了东西方艺术领域的教育，之后又继续攻读中央美术学院国画系。高中阶段的艺术学习和经历给我留下了深刻的印象，它为我种下了一颗成为伟大艺术家梦想的种子。
大学毕业后，我在中国人民大学艺术学院从事艺术教育。
目前，我是美国犹他州南犹他州大学的客座艺术家和教授。来到美国，是我追寻梦想的旅程。
植根于中国这片深厚的文化国土，我为自己的文化背景感到自豪；西方艺术对我的影响同样深刻，特别是文艺复兴时期的艺术。我的艺术体现了东西方风格的自然融合-一种文化的普遍性的特点。我艺术灵感的源泉来自东西方文明的巨大储备。
我的母亲是一名中学美术教师，她也是我的艺术启蒙老师。在我15岁的时候，我通过了一系列严格的艺术专业考试，并成功被中央美术学院附属中等美术学校录取。在校四年，我接受了东西方艺术领域的教育，之后又继续攻读中央美术学院国画系。高中阶段的艺术学习和经历给我留下了深刻的印象，它为我种下了一颗成为伟大艺术家梦想的种子。

目前，我是美国犹他州南犹他州大学的客座艺术家和教授。来到美国，是我追寻梦想的旅程。

I was born and spent my childhood in Datong, Shanxi province, China. My home city had big open lands, I heard the whistles of trains all the time. The sounds were clearer in the nights, accompanied my dreams. I was wondering, what are there beyond the horizon... I imagined a colorful & surprising future.
My mother was a high school art teacher. She's my first art teacher. At age 15, I passed several competitive exams, and was accepted in the Fine arts school affiliated to Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. I got four years of fine arts training in the school, in both east and west art fields. Afterward continued my education in Central Academy of Fine Arts, for another four years of training in Chinese painting. My art school (high school) years left me a very deep impression. It planted a dream of being a great artist.
After college, I taught art in The schools of Arts at Renmin University of China.
Currently I am a guest artist and visiting professor teach art at Southern Utah University, Utah, U.S.A. Coming to the U.S., I describe it as a journey of chasing the big dream.
Rooted in China's profound cultural Soil-I am proud of my background; also deeply influenced by Western arts, especially the Renaissance arts, my art shows a blending of Eastern and Western style-a feature of the cultural Universality. The source of my art is a huge reservoir of Eastern and Western civilization.
