ZODIAC AEROSPACE - "HALO" first class suite

ZODIAC AEROSPACE
"HALO" first class suite
Mission
ZODIAC commissioned Yellow Window to design a first-class airline suite to showcase new ideas and test innovative concepts in high-end aircraft interiors. As a laboratory suite, "HALO" led to a creative dialogue matching emerging technologies and customer needs. Yellow Window explored the concept of "premium service" in depth, with an emphasis on the experiences most often restricted while on-board: sense of space, flexibility and freedom.

"HALO" provides a luxury environment in the form of a private lounge with incomparable flexibility, creating a unique first-class travel experience for guests in a privileged universe. Thanks to discrete technologies, the space and atmosphere of "HALO" adapt to the passenger’s needs.
During the flight, the environment can be configured to fit activities as dining, work, leisure or rest. "HALO" offers the possibility of privacy and isolation, the opportunity to receive up to four people, and the comfort of a bed and a bathroom typical of a luxury hotel.
The "HALO" suite was presented at the annual Hamburg Aircraft Interiors Expo in April 2014, the largest show of its kind. The concept drew attention for its cutting-edge approach and was nominated for a Crystal Cabin Award. Yellow Window assisted ZODIAC in positioning and designing the product, as well as presenting the concept through an app and a promotional film.
For concept development, Yellow Window worked with yacht designer Armanmarine and Lowie Vermeersch. Interactive support was given with Bagaar. A full-scale mockup was made by ATS (UK).
