This is a web design project in which the brief required us to design and build a website for Bloomsday, a literary festival held annually on the 16th of June. The festival celebrates the life and work of James Joyce. Many events correspond to his seminal novel Ulysses.
The illustrations are of the locations which the novel’s protagonist Leopold Bloom visits in Ulysses, used to create a scrolling cityscape of Dublin in 1904. Each building links to a page describing the location and it’s significance to Ulysess and Joyce’s life.
